Tallinn University Closed From Saturday 14 March 2020

As of Monday, all Estonian schools and universities are fully closed as a coronavirus containment measure. The decision was made by the government crisis commission, responsible for managing the handling of the COVID-19 virus situation. With this in mind, Tallinn University decided to fully implement distant and e-learning starting already from Saturday 14 March 2020.

Estonian Minister for Education and Research Mailis Reps said that the crisis commission decision is in effect until the situation returns to normal. In every two weeks, the government reviews the decision and the need for extension for the period of the closing measurements.

The Rectorate of Tallinn University will meet first thing in the morning on March 13 in order to make the final arrangements on further study and work regulations, however the university is definitely closed starting from Saturday March 14 2020.
