My name is Annika, and my background combines international education and professional experience in global affairs. After completing a bachelor's degree in Foreign Languages and Cultures for Tourism and International Commerce at the University of Verona, I worked as a Startup Visa Development Manager at Startup Estonia. Later, I continued my academic journey at Tallinn University, where the International Relations programme helped me to develop my expertise further. During this time, I was also offered a position at the Canadian Embassy in Estonia, where I now work.

The International Relations curriculum at Tallinn University offered both a solid theoretical foundation and a strong focus on contemporary challenges. I particularly appreciated the programme’s attention to different security aspects, including cybersecurity, which is increasingly relevant today. The interdisciplinary approach allowed me to connect academic knowledge with real-world developments, preparing me for the demands of an international career.

Tallinn University provided a platform for academic growth, professional advancement, and valuable connections. For anyone interested in understanding global dynamics and pursuing an international career, I believe the International Relations programme offers excellent opportunities.
