Environmentally friendly Erasmus

Tallinn University is an environmentally friendly university, and we try to promote a sustainable mindset and behavior, not just in words but also in deeds. Tallinn University has joined the Green Academic Footprint initiative of the Network of Universities from the Capitals of Europe (UNICA) in order to participate in the process of making the principles of sustainable development part of everyday life.  

Tallinn University has joined the Go2Rail community, a shared platform for students traveling by train to find travel companions for their journey. For more information, visit the Go2Rail website.

We encourage our students to use sustainable solutions throughout the university and everyday life and to choose eco-friendly transportation. For those ready for an exciting journey, we recommend exploring the Interrail Erasmus+ train pass, which allows you to travel across Europe within a 6-month period. Students who use low-emissions means of transport for the main part of their travel, such as bus, train or car-pooling, have the right to apply for top-up.
