The School of Humanities, doctoral thesis defence of Alina Poklad

On February 3, 2025 at 18.00 Alina Poklad from the School of Humanities will defend the doctoral thesis "Образ инвалида в русской культуре как реализаци социального статуса "другого". ("The Portrayal of Disabled People in Russian Culture through the Social Status of "Other").

Public defence will take place in Zoom.

Supervisor: Irina Belobrovtseva, Professor Emeritus at Tallinn University.

Opponents: José Alaniz, Professor at the University of Washington and Alfiya Battalova, Associate Professor at the Royal Roads University
