Introduction
My research focuses on teacher thinking. At the moment, I am exploring how to design support mechanisms that strengthen teachers’ professional reasoning by helping them better notice and interpret learning activity data and classroom situations, and justify their pedagogical decisions.
For example, I study teacher–AI collaboration in situations where teachers plan lessons, analyse learning data, or design interventions. I am particularly interested in what happens to teachers’ thinking in these interactions: when AI supports deeper professional reasoning and self-regulation, and when it may instead lead teachers to accept suggestions too readily, leaving part of the professional thinking process unexamined.
My research is situated within the TAICo project, which brings together teacher professional development, learning analytics, and artificial intelligence in education.
