Retaking a Course
If a student has failed to obtain a positive result in a course after two attempts at the examination or pass-fail assessment (the main examination/assessment and the re-sit examination/assessment), the student must retake the course.
To retake the course, the student must register for it in the Study Information System (SIS), indicating during electronic registration that the course is being retaken.
If the student fails to obtain a positive result when taking a compulsory course for the second time, they may subsequently take the course for a fee through open learning.
