Conference aims to introduce wider some problems related to studies of immigrant population in the recently evolving as the main data source –registries. Also new recommendations of UN for international migration statistics and finally an overview of family dynamics and its inequalities in Scandinavia are brought to your attention. The main focus of the conference is on the new research outcomes from the project “Life Course Transitions and Living Arrangements: Migrant and Non-Migrant Populations in Russia, Estonia and Finland” by research collaborations between Tallinn and Turku University
