Eastern European Memory Studies Summer School will take place 11-15 July in Roosta.
The summer school focuses on how memorial forms and acts of memory are translated across and beyond post-socialist Eastern Europe, as well as how the arts and memory practices can potentially redraw boundaries within and beyond the region. The keynotes are Zuzanna Bogumił, Veronika Pehe, Kevin M. F. Platt, Magdalena Saryusz-Wolska ja Mitja Velikonja.
The summer school is organised by the European Research Council project Translating Memories: the Eastern European Past on the Global Arena.
