Tallinn University Starts the academic year with an Opening Ceremony and Student Fair
Tallinn University’s Opening Ceremony and Student Fair takes place on 1 September from 2 pm in the inner courtyard of the university. The entire university family – both employees and students – are invited to join!
The day begins with an academic opening ceremony, where Rector Professor Tõnu Viik welcomes the university family and introduces the university’s new professors.
The event continues with a student fair, where student organisations introduce their activities and there will be a concert by musician Reket. The students of BFM will also delight us with musical performances, and TLU dance girls will surprise us with a show. Eventually, our academics will play a DJ-set.
All guests are offered food and drinks from several food trucks: Papa Karla Burger, Kausik salads, Graverson Thai wok and Nohik coffee drinks.
