What is Erasmus+ ?
Erasmus+ is a higher education programme of the European Union (EU). One of the key aims of the programme is to enable the academic movement and mobilities of students and staff across European countries and universities. For Tallinn University students it means the opportunity to do exchange studies in another European country and university.

Where to go (which countries) ?
All 28 EU member states are participating in the programme. In addition also the following countries have joined the programme: Turkey, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.

Where to go (which universities) ?
Students can apply to host university which has a bilateral agreement with the respective Tallinn University school/college at student's field of study. In order to see, to which universities it is possible to go, first click on TU Erasmus website Where to go, and choose your academic unit. Thereafter the interactive map displays all those partner universities with which your academic unit has a bilateral partnership agreement. Secondly, in order to know where exactly you can go under your academic unit, choose your specific TU Study Programme from the upper right-hand corner (also ensure that you are selecting correct study-level) . Having done so, now you are able to see to where exactly it is possible for you to go.

Scholarship
All participating European countries are divided into two groups according to the living-cost level of the country. In lower living-cost countries the monthly scholarship is 435€/month, and in higher living-cost countries the scholarship is 495€/month (scholarship is financed by the European Commission). Additionally there will be one-time Estonian Government scholarship, 250 €.
