The special issue of the "Social Science" journal is dedicated to studies on the integration of formal education and workplace learning

In early November, Professor Christian Harteis from Germany, a partner university in the FEWL project ("Enhancing Research on the Integration of Formal Educational Programmes and Workplace Learning"), visited Tallinn University to discuss the publication of articles related to the project's theme and international co-supervision of doctoral students.

The plan is to dedicate a special issue titled "Improving Integration of Formal Education and Work-Based Learning" to studies on the integration of formal education and workplace learning, scheduled for publication in the early months of 2025 in the journal "Social Sciences."

The editors of this special issue are Professor Christian Harteis from Paderborn University and project manager professor Inge Timoštšuk from Tallinn University. The journal is a peer-reviewed open-access publication with an impact factor of 1.7 in 2022, and it is indexed in various databases such as Scopus and Web of Science.

The deadline for submitting full-text articles is September 30, 2024.
