Introduction
Dr. Katrin Tiidenberg is a Professor of Participatory Culture at the Baltic Film, Media and Arts School of Tallinn University in Estonia. Her research focuses on people's practices and meaning making on social media. She is the author of the following books: "Tumblr" (2021, with Natalie Ann Hendry and Crystal Abidin), Sex and Social Media" (2020, with Emily van der Nagel), "Selfies, why we love (and hate) them" (2018), "Body and soul on the internet - making sense of social media" (in Estonian 2017). She is the co-editor (with Annette Markham) of the recent collection "Metaphors of Internet" (2020).
