iCal calendarDear Colleagues,
We are very pleased to invite you to the 5th International Peer Support Symposium. The 5th International Peer Support Symposium will take place from 27th to 28th of June 2013 at Tallinn University, Estonia. The symposium will be organized by Tallinn University, Estonian Academy of Security Sciences and Primus Program.
The upcoming symposium will be an excellent opportunity for all of us to meet again and exchange ideas for the promotion of peer support services in higher education. Moreover, we hope to welcome new delegates that are interested in starting peer support trainings at their Universities.
The organizing team agreed to focus on the following themes for the 5th Symposium:
- The experience of being a peer support trainer/a supervisor/a peer supporter.
- New discoveries. Practical tips for training and supervision.
- How to start peer support training at university?
- What makes a peer support training to work? Theoretical bases.
- Social network (Facebook, LinkedIN etc) as a practical tool in peer support (for students and trainers).
- The experience of running the programme in different countries in different languages.
You are invited to contribute with your ideas for experiential workshops within the subjects mentioned above.
