Alessandro Naní is a PhD candidate in Media and Communication at the University of Tartu. His doctoral dissertation  focuses on cross-media audiences of public service media. He is as well the curator of the Bachelor study program ‘Crossmedia in Film and Television’ at Tallinn University where he teaches cross-media and transmedia storytelling, both at BA and MA level. Additionally, he works as the project manager of Cross Motion (CM), an Interreg BSR project and EU PA Culture Flagship project which aims at bringing together digital cultural heritage and gaming in service tourism, education and health.

Since November 2016, he serves as vice-chair of European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA) Audience and Reception Studies thematic section.
