The WIRE initiative is a collaborative project by the FilmEU Alliance, uniting eight European higher education institutions to enhance research and innovation. WIRE’s main objective is to drive significant improvements in research excellence and innovation through capacity building, institutional reforms, and skill development across its member institutions. Representing Europe’s diversity in geography, culture, and language, WIRE primarily supports less research-intensive institutions from widening countries, focusing on building research and innovation capacity within the Alliance.
