Tallinn University to host a semester of intercultural communication in autumn 2026
Eurocampus will take place at Tallinn University Baltic Film, Media and Arts School in the autumn semester of 2026.
Tallinn University Baltic Film, Media and Arts School leads the European Masters in Intercultural Communication (EMICC), a teaching and research network of nine European universities: Universität Bayreuth (Bayreuth, Germany), University of Jyväskylä (Jyväskylä, Finland), Universidade Aberta (Lisbon & Coimbra, Portugal), Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales (Paris, France), Università degli Studi di Urbino Carlo Bo (Urbino, Italy), Utrecht University (Utrecht, The Netherlands), St Andrews University (St Andrews, Scotland, United Kingdom), and University of Seville (Seville, Spain).
The Master’s Programme in Communication Management has been part of the EMICC since its inception in 2013.
At the core of the EMICC is the annual Eurocampus, a four-month intensive programme taught by professors from the network universities. Up to five students from each partner university can participate in the programme. The Executive Director of EMICC is Dr Anastassia Zabrodskaja, Professor of Intercultural Communication at TLU BFM.
On 15-16 January 2026, professors of intercultural communication from the EMICC partner universities met at TLU BFM (with some participating online) to discuss organisational and didactic/pedagogical issues, as well as the curriculum and planning of the Tallinn Eurocampus scheduled for autumn 2026.
