The Confucius Institute at Tallinn University welcomes all friends to the exotic birthday party!
On September 27 at 12.00-17.00 Confucius Institute celebrates its birthday by inviting everybody to the courtyard of Tallinn University to participate in the celebrations.
In the programme:
- Musical and dance performances
- Chinese language and culture workshops. The workshops are limited up to 15 participants, on-site registration!
- Fun photo shootings dressed as an Emperor or Empress in the Chinese emperor's dressing room
- Picture taking with famous Chinese cultural figures in the photo corner
- From the souvenir shop possibility to buy Chinese handmade lions, a rare Chinese tea, teapots, cups and much more.
- We are also celebrating the mid-autumn festival and treat everybody with Mooncakes.
Each guest will receive a gift!
The birthday programme:
12:00 OPENING CONCERT with dance and musical performances by Qiqi, Qiongxi Xu, Min Zhou, Xuan Li, Yunli Ma and many others.

Sneak peek into Chinese characters 16.30-17.00 ENDING CEREMONY
The Confucius Institute at Tallinn University (CITU) operates as part of the Office of Chinese Language Council International (Hanban). There are approximately 440 Confucius Institutes operating in foreign universities throughout the world. These institutes serve as cultural centers that bring Chinese culture outside China. In CITU adults and children can learn Chinese language, there are classes of Chinese calligraphy and ink painting, Chinese medicine, Chinese culture and society. One can also learn Chinese kunfu and cooking.
