The first Estonian conference on service design entitled "Services of
Tomorrow: What's Next?" will be held in the Estonian State Puppet and Youth
Theatre on September 23. The conference will focus on the future of
services and will explore new ways in which to develop services. The global
economy has shifted from the creation of objects to the creation of
services. Also in Estonia, services already constitute more than 60% of
GDP. Hence, services are important. However, we often experience poor
services. Also, we wonder why we are not asked which services we actually
need and services are often developed with the hope that clients will like
them. This conference will analyse the future of services and discuss ways
of improvement. Everyone wins from a high-quality service – a happy
client will return and will recommend your service to others. The conference
is organized by Tallinn University Estonian Institute for Futures Studies
together with the Lahti University of Applied Sciences, Creative Estonia,
Velvet, Provoke Tallinn and Brand Manual. The working language of the
conference is English.Everyone working in the field of service development
is welcome to the conference. For further information about the conference
and how to register please visit the conference homepage.
