iCal calendarResearcher of Learning Technologies Linda Helene Sillat, who is applying for the position of Associate Professor of Learning Technologies, will hold a public Venia Legendi lecture on Wednesday, November 1st, from 14:00- 15:00 p.m. in room A-447. The lecture lasts 40 minutes and is followed by a 20-minute discussion for questions and answers.
Lecture's topic: "Towards meaningful adoption of technologies in educators pedagogical practice”. The lecture will look into the role of technology in education and try to give a brief overview of the current state-of-the-art including the research and development projects. The presentation will highlight the importance of technology in educational settings while elaborating on challenges, benefits and strategies in order to move towards a more meaningful adoption of technologies in educators professional practice. The talk also looks into professional development and emerging tends in the scope of research, teaching and leadership.
