In the latter part of May, there's a great opportunity to take part in two Burmese-Thai film screening events, which will take place on consecutive Fridays, on 20 and 27 May.
The film screenings start at 5 pm in the SuperNova cinema at the Baltic Film, Media and Arts School. The screenings are free of charge.
We kindly ask all those interested to register in advance due to limited seats in the cinema.
The screenings consist of films depicting the underlying political scenario of Thailand and Myanmar which is not frequently portrayed in the mainstream media. It is followed by an audience Q&A with the panel.
We welcome all those interested in Asia, politics and history as well as others.
More information about the event can be found here.
