Tallinn University’s 20th Birthday Party

You can say that we are a young old university. This year marks 20 years since Tallinn University was founded. Over the years, a number of institutions have come together under one name. The oldest of these dates back to 1919, when the Tallinn Teachers' Seminary was founded. Thus, the history of Tallinn University stretches back to the beginning of the last century. So this year Tallinn University is not celebrating its historic starting point, but the milestone anniversary of becoming a world-class research institution under a single name.
