“Festival Darlings”

As film programmers we are decent, honest, true and completely and utterly un-bribeable (though we always do welcome efforts for you to try). But, contrary to popular belief, we are also human and we do have our favourite films in a selection. This is never a negative reflection on the other films in a programme, more a recognition that sometimes a film just ‘gets’ you in a certain way.

The shortest day of the year on December 21st also means it’s International Short Film day and, to celebrate, Sleepwalkers will be showing some of our ‘Festival Darlings’, films that the team members loved because they ‘got us’ in a certain way.

So come and enjoy a pre-Xmas feast of merriment, short films and one or two treats along the way.

And bring bribes ;)

Glimpses of Sleepwalkers 2015 

International Short Film Festival Sleepwalkers is a five day festival held every year in BFM. Sleepwalkers brings together a versatile mixture of world class short films, among them both new discoveries and already highly reputable films. The festival week also hosts exciting workshops and special events.

This year we viewed 150 films from 39 different countries and played host to 37 Baltic Premieres, 4 European Premieres, 11 International Premieres and 5 World Premieres!
