iCal calendarHealth week focuses on the individual and using the environment to enhance our well-being. From Monday to Thursday, we offer several health-related lectures and activities, with a different focus for every day.
The Health Week sees the opening of the TU Indoor Hiking Trail, which runs through all the buildings in the campus and offers a chance for all staff and students to exercise during the day. There will also be seminars focusing on activity, physical and mental health, and actions you can take to improve both.
Noticing and using the environment is also emphasized, a small outdoor gym is erected, where street workout specialists will give advice during the week. In addition, students and staff can participate in various competitions, such as a ping-pong tournament, an Endomondo challenge, as well as pull-up and planking competitions. Thursday will have a sportive morning, which shows various ways to kick-start your day.
The most active student and member of staff will receive a free one-month pass to MyFitness. Twenty lucky participants can also win a one-time pass to MyFitness. In addition, participants are offered fresh fruit, and a discount to the Student Summer Games.
