Imagining the Nation: Ontological and Epistemic Objectivity

by Tomasz Kamusella, Reader of Modern History at the University of St Andrews, Scotland. He specializes in the interdisciplinary study of language politics and nationalism in modern central Europe. His recent English-language publications include monographs Ethnic Cleansing During the Cold War: The Forgotten 1989 Expulsion of Turks from Communist Bulgaria (Routledge 2018) and The Un-Polish Poland, 1989 and the Illusion of Regained Historical Continuity (Palgrave 2017). At present he is finishing Historical Atlas of Language Politics in Modern Central Europe (IB Tauris 2020).

The seminar will take place on April 12, at 14:15, in room A-544.
