Open call for the GSCSA winter school „The Digital Condition: Arts and Humanities in the
Digital Age“ coordinator

Graduate School of Culture Studies and Arts (GSCSA) was established to advance the
academic level of PhD programmes of culture studies and arts in Estonia, to integrate
institutionally and administratively separated reseachers of culture, and involve
internationally acclaimed researchers. GSCSA is a joint venture of four Estonian universities:
Tallinn University (coordinator of GSCSA), University of Tartu, Estonian Academy of Music
and Theatre and Estonian Academy of Arts.

The GSCSA winter school 2021 team is searching for a coordinator to join the team for a
fixed-term until 28 February 2021. The coordinator is responsible for:

- organisation of activities, including organising travel and accommodation, catering;
- collecting and analysing feedback of the winter school;
- systematic and up-to-date submission or organisation of information concerning the
activities of the winter school on the websites of the university, institute or doctoral
school;
- creating and managing the winter school website;
- cooperation with the Research Administration Office and the Marketing and
Communication Office to publish the results of the doctoral school, i.e. popularising
science;
- in cooperation with the programme managers, development of seminars and other
substantive activities supporting the study activities, and supporting their
implementation;
- reporting of expenses and activities according to financer regulations.
Requirements for applicants:
- previous experience with coordinating events;
- previous experience with creating websites;
- language skills: proficient in English and Estonian;
- proficient in MS Office
- excellent communication skills.
