Teacher's and learner's digital competence in early childhood and primary education

Summary

The need to cope in today's technology-rich world requires a certain level of digital competence from people of all ages. The teacher and their digital competence are the key to support and facilitate the development of learners’ digital competence. What knowledge and skills in the digital field are expected from the teacher? How can a teacher support the learners' digital competence in early childhood and/or primary education?

We will give an overview of teachers’  and learners’ digital competence (presentation) or conduct practical workshop on various possibilities of the application of digital technologies in early childhood and/or primary education. In the practical workshop, it is possible to choose a focus (devices and applications; multimedia; photography and smart devices; creating educational games).

Presentation lasts for 90 minutes (lecture and discussion).

Practical workshop lasts for 180 minutes (lecture and practical activities). In the practical workshop we prefer to use the BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) approach.

Languages: The presentation can be provided in Estonian, English, Russian.

Price: 700 EUR (for a group up to 30 participants)

Price does not include VAT, due to that, 22% percent will be added to the stated prices.

Additional requests

The package can be modified according to visitor’s special request. With modifications, a new price will be agreed upon according to the final package after the modifications. Also, it is possible to have a coffee break or catering in addition to the package. The price of the coffee break or catering will be added to the package price based on the invoice from the coffee break/catering company.
