iCal calendarOn November 8-9 2013 the Institute of Political Science and Governance is hosting an international workshop titled Imagining Development: Comparing Theory and Practice of Development in the Post-Socialist World.
The workshop will explore the way development (be this local or national, political or social) in a series of post-socialist states has been conceived, implemented and applied to different political, economic and geopolitical realities across the region and the response that has been generated from this implementation.
PhD students as well as experienced researchers from Estonia, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Latvia, Georgia, Russia, China and elsewhere will present their work and engage with networking activities.
The event is organized under the auspices of the EU funded project PSDEV: Imagining Development: A multidisciplinary and multilevel analysis of development policies and their effect in the post-socialist world.
