BFM Training brought two well-known lecturers from England to Estonia. They were Peter Wilson and Martin Parsons who conducted Digital Imaging Technician (DIT) training for professional camera crew and post-production personnel. This was unique training of its kind in Baltics.

Nowadays camera crew as well as post-production personnel such as data wranglers need digital imaging and data management skills. They need it to increase their employment prospects. Peter Wilson said that right now there are more and more ways to deliver media so production in many places is booming.

Wilson was impressed with the trainees and he said that some obviously had more production experience than others and the training material at times is difficult but necessary to follow. Wilson was also impressed with Estonia and he hadn’t visited any Eastern Baltic country before.

„As a summary,“ he said, „Martin and I certainly found it worthwhile to visit and have the impression that Estonia will have a significant place in the world movie making market.“
