The 8th international literature festival entitled "Prima Vista" will be
held on May 5-8 in Tartu and Tallinn. Rein Raud, Rector of Tallinn
University and a renowned writer, is the patron of the festival.The
aim of the festival is to promote literature, to enrich cultural life in
Estonia and also to introduce foreign literatures in order to support the
building of cultural bridges between different cultural communities.On May
5-7 the festival will be held in Tartu and "Prima Vista" will move to
Tallinn on May 8.Programme of the Prima Vista Festival in Tallinn on

Library of Tallinn University (Rävala avenue 10)13:00 Meeting with Dina
Rubina at the Tallinn Hall (TU Mare building, room M-218, Uus-Sadama
5)14:00 Meeting the German writer Kathrin Schmidt and the presentation
of the Estonian translation of the novel entitled "You’re Not Going
to Die" in the auditorium M-648 (TU Mare building, Uus-Sadama 5)15:30 "Tram
Trip" with singing writers (starts in front of Tallinn
University)Performances by Tuuli Taul, Jaan Pehk and Aapo IlvesNB! For this

Kökeksp!edition in collaboration with Kiwa, S.S. Fabrique, Luulur,
Martiini, Kaspar Jassa, Barthol Lo Mejor, Leene Nola, Berk Vaher and others
descend under the city of Tallinn into the bastion passages carrying
text machines, sound- and picture-locators. The results will be presented
