Anton Küünal, a doctoral student at the Tallinn University Institute of
Slavonic Languages and Cultures, will defend his PhD thesis on the textual
specifics of the opera libretto, using operas with a biblical
storyline as an example. His defence will take place in the auditorium S333
(Silva building, Narva 27/29) on Thursday, 10 January at 15:00.The
supervisor of the thesis is Professor Irina Belobrovtseva, Tallinn
University.The opponents of the thesis are Professor Jaan Ross, Estonian
Academy of Music and Theatre, and Andrei Rogatсhevski, Associate Professor
