Annika Kilgi, a doctoral student at Tallinn University Institute of
Estonian Language and Culture, will defend her PhD thesis on the dynamics
of Estonian in the first translation of the Bible into Estonian. Her
defence will take place in the Tallinn University Institute of History
(Rüütli St 10) on Tuesday, 28th August at 12:00.The supervisors of the
thesis are Kristiina Ross, Senior Researcher at the Institute of the
Estonian Language, and Professor Martin Ehala, University of Tartu.The
opponents of the thesis are Külli Habicht, Associate Professor at the
University of Tartu, and Professor Raimo Raag, Uppsala University.The PhD
