Public Defence of a Doctoral Thesis at TU Institute of International and Social Studies

Triin Roosalu, a doctoral student at Tallinn University Institute of
International and Social Studies, will defend her PhD thesis entitled
"Taking Care of Children and Work in Estonian Society: Running out of
Post-Socialist Time?" Her defence will take place in the Tallinn University
Institute of History (Rüütli St 6) on Wednesday, 4th April at 11:00.The
supervisor of the thesis is Professor Ellu Saar, Tallinn University
Institute of International and Social Studies.The opponents of the thesis
are Dirk Hofäcker, researcher at the Department of European
Societies and their Integration at the University of Mannheim, and
Professor Kimmo Jokinen, Family Research Centre, University of
