Public Defence of Mele Pesti's Doctoral Thesis at Tallinn University

iCal calendarMele Pesti, a doctoral student at the Tallinn University Institute of Germanic and Romance Languages and Cultures, will defend her PhD thesis entitled "From an Intuitive Metaphor Towards a Working Cultural Model: ‘Anthropophagy’ in Oswald de Andrade’s „Anthropophagic Manifesto“ and its Development in 20th Century Brazil". Her defence will take place in auditorium M213 (Mare building) on Monday, 24 November at 10:00.
The supervisors of the thesis are Associate Professor Ülar Ploom, Tallinn University and Professor Tiina Ann Kirss, Tallinn University.
The opponents of the thesis are Professor Patrick Laviolette,Tallinn University and Professor Susanne Klengel, Freie Universität Berlin.
