A seminar entitled "Innovation Communication as a Foundation for State’s
Competitiveness – Disengaging from Traditional Mental Models" will
be organized by Estonian Enterprise and Tallinn University, Institute
of Communication on November 8, 2011. The seminar will be held in Nordic
Hotel Forum.The purpose of the seminar is to evoke discussion about
innovation journalism and innovation economy. One point of innovation
journalism is to introduce new ideas or old issues from a new perspective
– to question our old and fixed ways of thinking and perceiving the
society; business, economics, politics, media, for instance. It also brings
light to a question how innovation journalism and communication can
contribute to state’s competitiveness.Seminar is moderated by Professor
