The next public lecture of Studia Generalia entitled "Rethinking the 1948
War" will be delivered by Professor Benny Morris. The lecture will take
place in the auditorium M-213 (TU Mare building, Uus-Sadama 5) on Thursday,

was the decisive event which established Israel as an independent Middle

leading authorities of Israeli history. Among his publications is "1948, A
History of the First Arab-Israeli War" (Yale University Press, 2008).Studia
