The public lecture of Studia Generalia dedicated to conceptualizing the notion of Necroeconomics and its exemplifiers in Post-Soviet reality will be delivered by  Georgian economic scholar, the Rector of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University Prof. Vladimer Papava. The lecture will take place in the auditorium A-224 (TU Astra building, Narva mnt 25) on September 23 at 16:00. 

Drawing from Georgia’s experience in the aftermath of communism the speaker will analyze two phases of economic development of the country - before and after the 2003 Rose Revolution. Global factors affecting and perhaps predicting the economic progress of the country will also be addressed i.e. the role of Russia and EU in making Georgian economy. 

Studia Generalia is a series of public lectures delivered by the teachers, researchers and visiting lecturers of Tallinn University. Anyone who enters the University building can listen to what prominent thinkers have to say on current topics that affect  society, and also participate in the discussion.  Participation is free of charge.
