The Sleepwalkers country focus will this year turn its attention to Croatia, a place that has been producing a number of brilliant short films over the past few years. The programme will be presented in association with the Tabor Film Festival.

Highlights will include I Hate You, the winner of this year’s Tabor Film Festival Domestic Competition, which sees two teenagers walking through a deserted town on a summer’s night as their mother party.

You can also see The Verdict, which is a documentary set sixteen years after the war. In it several thousand people gathered in the main square of Zagreb to watch a live broadcast of the verdict passed on Croatian generals. It’s a powerful and moving piece of work.
