Tallinn University Student Union and the Centre for Innovation in Education host the Active Learning Week, which focuses on a new way of teaching and learning in the university, and values a creative and active way of studying.

The vision of Tallinn University is to promote intelligent lifestyle, and one of the strategic focus fields in this journey is innovation in education, which supports the development and application of a 21st century learning culture in Estonia.

The Active Learning Week invites all lecturers and students to experiment with new methods (be it problem based learning, changes in the approach to learning, or some other methods), and/or hold public lectures. If you are willing to try these, sign up here.

As part of the Active Learning Week, we wish to acknowledge the most active participants, sharers of best practices and those promoting new approaches to learning. To do that, we ask lecturers to fill out a form between March 11 and March 15. A jury will select the most active participants from those nominated through the form. On March 18, the Tallinn University Day, three most active lecturers will receive the chance to visit innovation hubs across Europe.

As the Active Learning Week is being held for the first time, we welcome your ideas and proposals!
