On December 9, 2020, at 12 o'clock Martin Küttim from the School of Natural Sciences and Health will defend the doctoral thesis "Ecophysiology of Boreal Mire Mosses – Effects of Winter Conditions and Consequences of Climate Change".

Public defence will take place in Tallinn University hall M648.

The defence can be followed and questions asked from the degree applicant also in Zoom.

Supervisors are Project manager Mati Ilomets from Tallinn University and Researcher and Senior Researcher Anna Maria Laine-Petäjäkangas from the University of Oulu and  from the Geological Survey of Finland.

Opponents are Professor Eeva-Stiina Tuittila from the University of Eastern Finland and Researcher Gustaf Granath from Uppsala University.
