"Three Layers of Telling a Story" workshop here in BFM!

Hungary is the bedrock of great cinematography, being the homeland of world-famous cinematographers like Vilmos Zsigmond, László Kovács and Lajos Koltai.

Therefore BFM is happy to welcome a guest lecturer János Vecsernyés HSC from our partner university, Hungarian University of Theatre and Film Arts Budapest, to give a one-day workshop on motivated lighting to BFM cinematography students.

The workshop is a test teaching that is conducted under the auspices of a three-year ‘Three Layers of Telling a Story’ project, in partnership with Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology (Ireland), Baltic Film and Media School (Estonia) and Hungarian University of Theatre and Film Arts (Hungary).

The title of the test teaching workshop is "What Is There Out of the Frame?" and it will focus on motivated lighting and will take place in BFM soundstage on 5th of May 2015.
