The next European Elections will take place on 26 May 2019. Did you know that in the last European elections in 2014, only 16% of Estonians age 18 to 24 voted?

Europe is facing many challenges, from migration and climate change to youth unemployment and data protection. As Brexit demonstrated, the existence of the EU is not self-evident and thus, it is crucial that everyone casts their vote in the European elections in May next year.

European Parliament's initiative “This Time I’m Voting” aims to encourage people to go voting and to spread the word about the elections among their friends and family. One of the initiative’s “architects”, representative of the European Parliament Stephen Clark is coming to University of Tallinn on 3 December at 16.15 to give a presentation of why to vote and why to convince others as well.

We encourage active participation in the seminar, as there will be room for questions.

The meeting with Stephen Clark takes place in room A-222.
