ADORE: Accessibility in Digital Communication Higher Education Curricula

On 17 November 2021, the ADORE (Accessibility in Digital Communication Higher Education Curricula) project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme, had its virtual kick-off meeting, hosted by Tallinn University.

The two-year project began on 1 November 2021. The main objective of the ADORE project is to educate university teaching and training staff working in the field of communication on accessible content publishing and how to provide a more inclusive teaching experience in communication programmes.

Kick-off meeting

The project will establish a unique partnership between higher education institutions, training organisations and the private sector, with the overarching goal of mainstreaming accessibility skills in higher education curricula for communication disciplines. It will also aim to prepare students for the current and future needs of the economy and society.

ADORE will be carried out by a consortium of five European partners (Tallinn University, Funka Nu AB, University of Maribor, Paris-Lodron University Salzburg and the INUK Institut za napredno upravljanje komunikacij). ADORE is coordinated by Tallinn University Baltic Film, Media and Arts School. The project coordinator is Dr. Anastassia Zabrodskaja, Professor of Intercultural Communication, and Head of the MA programme in Communication Management.EU co-fund logo
