Chris Bilton teaches management and marketing in the creative industries at the University of Warwick. His research explores creativity, creative organisations and creative entrepreneurship. He is the author of Management and Creativity: from creative industries to creative management and The Disappearing Product: marketing and markets in the creative industries. Before becoming an academic he worked in London as an actor, community arts worker and local arts development office.
