What is your background?

I am currently working as an assistant professor at the VSB - Technical University of Ostrava, Czech republic. My initial background started in digital marketing and later applied informatics to focus on web usability.

What are your responsibilities at the institute?

I am teaching the Web Frameworks course in the spring semester. Later I will join and help supervise student teams in the Software Development Project and Interaction Design Project courses. In addition, I am interested in research topics connected to human-computer interaction, chatbots and virtual reality.

What goals have you set for yourself in this position?

Explore, observe and get inspired by everyday life at Tallinn University. Share best practices from my university. Working in the international environment. Connect with new colleagues to find topics and opportunities to collaborate on current or future projects. Discover Estonian culture, society and nature.

What are your hobbies and interests?

I am a music lover (indie pop/rock/electronic) with the hope that I will enjoy live music again soon. I like to discover new cultures and worlds around me through movies and documentaries. I am a regular visitor to the Karlovy Vary Film Festival.

What is the most important principle to follow in life?

Spend time with people who energise and inspire us.
