Have you even wondered how humour works?

HUMOUR 101 is the interactive one-day workshop for students who are interested in what exactly is humour and how does it matter. Learn the techniques behind any joke or meme, find out why some humour is more successful than other, see what is funny for different groups and societies. Lecturers include:

  • ·  Wladyslaw Chlopicki “Humour in narratives – from the word to the text and back”
  • ·  Tom Ford “Social psychology of humour in intergroup settings: Applications to political humour
  • ·  Giselinde Kuipers “Humour and social boundaries: Studying humour from a social science perspective”
