Highlights from the "Academy4Business" Summer School at Tallinn University
Last week, from June 26th to 28th, a 3-day summer school of the international project "Academy4Business" took place at Tallinn University. The event gathered students and project partners from Poland, the Czech Republic, Spain, and Estonia.
This project aims to develop and test an innovative course to foster and support entrepreneurial thinking in educational technology through international collaboration.
The summer school included a mini-hackathon with inspiring speeches, learning bite sessions, pitch training, and project solution presentations.
The event's highlight was a gastronomy show with delightful culinary experiences on the final day. The hot weather did not deter the participants, who left with many great experiences, memories, and new friends.
Merilin Kähar, a student at Tallinn University, also participated in the project. She said the most valuable lesson she learned was how to create new and innovative business ideas.
"Another major benefit of the project for me has been networking," said Merilin, adding that she has made many new contacts among mentors and students from other countries. Merilin believes these connections will be very beneficial for her in the future.
