My future colleague robot
By 2021, the TU EDUSPACE laboratory will have the capacity to offer internships introducing the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to students studying in non-ICT curricula. Behavioral models are created for simple AI robots to help understand the application of this type of robot in the classroom.
One of the aims of the project was to help university lecturers and non-ICT students overcome a number of prejudices against robots using artificial intelligence. The aim was also to help TU non-ICT lecturers to place new technologies in the worldview of their teaching and to do all this in cooperation with local and international partners from the private sector.
Researchers, teachers, students and entrepreneurs from Estonia and abroad participated in the project.

Vision booklet
With the support of the IT Academy, a vision booklet was prepared on what role robots will (or could) play in education. The project provided valuable input to the research project "ÕPPESTECH-METH Learning and Teaching at the University. Integrating New Technologies and Methods in University Learning" funded by the University Research Fund in the spring of 2021.
In addition to the text, the vision booklet contains vision videos with English subtitles:
Tõnu Viik
- Meie suhe robotitega tulevikus
- Наши отношения с роботами в будущем
- Our relationship with robots in the future
Indrek Grauberg
- Kas robotil on õigusvõime?
- Какова роль роботов в юридической пространстве?
- Do robots have passive legal capacity?
