BETT is a global series of education shows, that has been organised since 1985. The Estonian team to enter the show was put together by Education Estonia. Tallinn University applied and was chosen to be part of it.

Due to the pandemic, BETT 2021 took place online. Tallinn University's online exhibition was created by Janika Leoste, Viktoria Humal, Merle Pajus, Tiia Õun, Külliki Tafel-Viia, Margot Adamson, Evelyn Neudorf, Maire Tuul, Kätlin Vanari and Katrin Männik.

"As a result of research and projects conducted by Tallinn University lecturers and researchers, various innovative prototypes of educational products have been created. BETT UK 2021/22 participation in the Estonian exhibition allows us to introduce these innovative approaches to the international target group and thereby increase the influence of Estonia as a digital country," comments Janika Leoste. "One good example is RM Education, whose robots are used by most Estonian kindergartens and to whom we give valuable feedback on the pedagogical use of these products. We also hope to expand the university's international network for co-creation of educational innovation with universities and educational institutions in other countries."

Estonia is also represented by DreamApply, ELIIS, Futuclass and ALPA Kids. Estonia's participation to the show was organised by Education Estonia, Education and Youth Board, Ministry of Education and Research, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Startup Estonia, eKool, Opiq, EdTech Estonia.
