Merilin Aruvee

Merilin Aruvee is lecturer of
L1 didactics and applied linguistics. Merilin Aruvee teaches Estonian as L1 courses and works as a teacher trainer and supervisor/mentor. Merilin Aruvee also teaches practical language courses for baccalaureate students. She is the Head of the Estonian Language and Culture Study Area. She received a PhD in linguistics. Her research interests are SFL in literacy teaching, linguistic literacy and grammar teaching. Merilin Aruvee has previously worked as a L1 teacher and textbook editor. She is an author of literature workbooks for middle school.
