Introduction

Sara Barbo (née Arumetsa) is a junior research fellow and a PhD student in Studies of Cultures. She’s a feminist philosopher whose research is situated at the intersection of social movement studies, critical phenomenology, and political theory. In her PhD research, she’s studying how social and political activists experience, perceive, and engage with moral dilemmas related to compromising and concession-making. In addition to philosophical methods, she relies on interviews, archives, and autotheory.
